An Englishman’s Home from Tim Brunsden on Vimeo. A short film I made in collaboration with Johnny Parker, looking at four peoples experience of urban regeneration in Merseyside. The work featuring in this film was created by young people from Merseyside working in response to Kneehigh’s production of Hansel & Gretel. I wanted to give the film a darker edge in line with the fairy tale itself. I filmed my friend Roy putting up the [...] The idea behind this was that the vogue ball is all about getting away from the drudgery of everyday life and living your dream.
